F.A.Q. - SNOM Phone Headsets

Connect the headset's RJ9 connector directly to the phone's headset jack at the back of the phone (below the handset jack)

1. Press the headset button on the phone's keypad, you will hear dial tone from the headset's speaker(s) (do not pick up the handset from the hood).

2. Dial the telephone number

While the phone ring, press the headset button on the phone's keypad, it will pick up the call and have the phone audio on the headset.

After pressed the headset button, use the volume key on the phone's keypad to increase and decrease the headset volume.

While have phone conversation on the headset, pick up the handset from the hood, the phone audio will be routed to the handset. While have phone conversation on the handset, press the headset button , you should be able to hear the phone conversation from the headset speaker. Then put the handset back to the hood.

While have phone conversation on the headset, press the Speaker button on the phone's keypad, the phone audio will be routed to the speaker phone. While have phone conversation on the phone's speaker phone, press the headset button , the phone audio will be routed to the headset.

While have phone conversation on the headset, press the mute button on the phone's keypad, the headset microphone will be muted. Press the Mute button again to disable the mute function.

1. Connect OvisLink headset to port A and port B at the training adapter.

2. Set the switch to "2" position at the other side of the truing adapter next to the "TEL" port.

3. Connect the "TEL" port at the training adapter to SNOM phone's headset jack with the comes with short RJ11 cord. Now the two headsets are connected to the SNOM phone.

4. Press the mute button once to mute the headset's microphone connected to the coordinated port. Press the same mute button again to release.
